Work
Our specialties are graphic design, animation, and usability.
We always see our creative work as design and craftsmanship, but not as art. Design fulfils a specific purpose and solves problems. This may be obvious with UX/UI design and signage, but books and brochures also need to be understood. Just like posters, films, animations and other media products.
People who can’t decipher your message will not get in touch with you. Likewise, buyers frustrated by poorly designed products will not recommend them to others. Hence our motto “Design Problems are Business Problems.” We have solutions.
Clients
Below is a selection of agencies and clients we already worked for:
Type Design
Nubero One is a pixel font that comes in two variants: LCD and CRT. While LCD is as crisp as one would expect from a pixel font, CRT slightly blurred to evoke the impression of an old cathode ray tube screen. The font has many alternative letterforms and ligatures, comes with a 20-page PDF booklet and can be downloaded for free in OpenType format.
Logodesign
On behalf of Red Hat Switzerland, we designed the concept, logo and animation for an internal software project at a major Red Hat customer. The new software platform Minerva is designed to help developers create new projects from modules more quickly and easily. We were inspired by the idea of building blocks for the design. Software development “As easy as 1-2-3”. The sound design for the animation was created by Dave Ponzio and emphasises the concept of the building blocks through the clicking sounds.
Movie production
Uster Technologies is the world’s leading provider of total quality solutions in the textile industry. In this testimonial film, one of Uster Technologies’ customers talks about his positive experiences with their products. Nuberodesign was responsible for the concept, script, direction and post-production.
UI Design & Animation
For Swissgrid, commissioned by Aroma, we designed the user interface and animations for an interactive touch table.
Illustration
The Dolder Hotel AG needed icons to symbolise its values to be used for internal presentations and staff training. The keywords and colours were specified by Dolder.
Motion Design
The Spital Uster (Uster Hospital) is producing more and more audiovisual content for which they needed a corporate motion design. With this design kit, the videos produced by Spital Uster come across as fresher and more professional. The jingle was composed by Christian Riesen.
Animation
Uster Technologies approached us with a request for a trade show film on the subject of “Preventive Yarn Clearing”. The film had to convey the message as strikingly and concisely as possible and also work without sound in the trade show environment. We were responsible for the concept, art direction and realisation. The sound design was created by Dave Ponzio.
Editorial Design
The Spital Limmattal (Limmattal Hospital) is responsible for basic medical care in the Limmat and Furttal valleys and neighbouring regions. The brochures were created to better explain the service levels in the various insurance categories to patients.
Illustration
These illustrations were originally created for a gift box. Long-standing employees of the hospital receive these on milestone anniversaries. However, the illustrations can also be arranged as an endless pattern and thus used as a graphic texture for all kinds of purposes.
Illustration
The engineering firm Marty + Partner AG specialises in the fields of traffic, control and systems technology. The company is often associated with traffic technology for cars and wanted to break out of this perception. We therefore designed five icons for the company which show that Marty + Partner’s projects take all road users into account. The icons are used by Marty + Partner in their presentations and also appear on their Christmas cards every year.
Animation
On behalf of Aroma, we created animations for the LED Christmas chandelier at Zurich main station.
Animation
This animated film on the subject of school sports camps was produced for the Federal Office of Sport FOSPO on behalf of TwoThirty Productions. The illustrations are by Christoph Frei, the sound design by Dave Ponzio.
